Set out at 12:30 for ‘Beggars Roost’ near Cheltenham. Took the Fosse Way to Stowe, then Tewkesbury Road to M5 (J9) off on (J11) for Badgeworth and Staverton. Arrived at 4pm. Had our first cup of tea in the van, after Bill had (expertly) fitted everything together. A little robin keeps his eye open for food! Magpies live in the trees opposite. Chris and Maxine arrived about 6pm. We all went out for a meal to the ‘Air Balloon’. Very good food with a vegetarian menu as well. Sleeping in the van is a bit cramped but we slept well.
