Windy day and grumpy Bill
Nice morning, sunny and warm, but still windy. Had to do some shopping so went to Hertford. It was much more lively than it had been the last time we went. Did some shopping looked around and came back with some food for lunch. Sat and ate outside. A lady from across the way started talking to us. She said she didn’t like the pheasants, who were being fed by some Dutch people in the next caravan to her. So I asked her to come over. She doesn’t live far from here, and tows her own caravan, as her husband died a year ago as a result of falling off a coach step whilst of holiday with Wallace Arnold. She only lives a short distance from here, but is hoping to move to Norfolk, to a bungalow near the Sandringham site. We didn’t do very much after that, as we talked for about two hours - interesting though the wind’s getting up a bit! Bill was grumpy, to say the least!
