Bus to Cromer for shopping & Thanking St Anthony
Colder night, but much warmer, very sunny day. I decided to catch a bus to Cromer, so got my chores done, took my rucksack and walked down to East Runton, where I asked about the buses. They told me I just had to put out my hand to stop any bus - so I did, in about two minutes! It’s possible to travel on any bus, as the tickets are all interchangeable. Had a lovely time looking at shops - bought Zoë a dog (mastiff I think). In another charity shop I bought some postcards - they were only 1p each! Visited the church to thank St. Anthony for ‘finding me’ after all he is the Patron Saint of lost articles - and I’ve never known him fail when I’ve asked him for help. I walked to the end of the town, then turned left down the hill to the sea and the lifeboat station, complete with lifeboat! I walked along the front and finally sat on the beach and contemplated the sea which was coming in the sloping beach, high waved they were too. I finally left the sea and made my way back to the bus station - only a small one - and lo and behold, there was a bus waiting to bring me back again! I walked back from East Runton and did some embroidery, then got a meal. Now to write some cards a.s.t.b.
