Princess Di's funeral and Death of Mother Teresa
Another good day, a few clouds earlier which quickly dispersed to give another sunny day, warm but cooling towards evening and clouding up a bit. Did very little today. Visited Sheringham in order to buy a tapestry in order to have something to do, as I’ve left my wools & needle at home! We’ll probably go to see the engines tomorrow afternoon - anyway, after Princess Di’s funeral. So many people and so many flowers to mourn her with. She is a great loss to us. Mother Teresa has died - Diana and her had met not so long ago - a sign? I don’t think the weather will be very good. Tomorrow, and things will be a bit quiet I think. Most shops here are closed until 2.30pm as a mark of respect to Diana, Princess of Wales.
