Shopping in Woodland Spa
Beautiful morning, warm even early - not that we were early. Showers etc, new and excellent, the standard type nowadays. We decided to go to Woodhall Spa, 3 miles from here. It was a bit like going back to Victorian times, brought up to date as it were! I went to the museum after we’d spent some time in an antiques shop where the prices were quite high, then we found an alley shopping mall where lots of second-hand and some new items were on sale, very interesting and tempting. We had lunch in a café there. I left Bill to do some shopping - two hours later I eventually found him, parked where I couldn’t see him (I’d been there to see if he was there several times) but I’d expected to find the car where I had seen it last! We came back to the site and had a meal after sitting in the warm afternoon sunshine, playing with the cat. She obviously finds the campsite less stressful than the farm!
