Cold shower and Moulin De Fleurac
After getting a jeton stuck in the shower and having to submit to a cold one - we ventured forth to Angoulême - a pleasant city with a cathedral (St.Michel) and large buildings with lovely flowers in the gardens. There were super views across the vale of the Charente, from the town ramparts. Lots of the streets were interior to traffic and there were many cafés in this area - we stopped for lunch at the pizza place; the cheapest! After leaving Angoulême, we visited a paper mill, which was still making paper by hand using very ancient machinery called the Moulin De Fleurac, as the XVIII Siécle. We bought two pictures there.
