Walked to Market in Bourgueil
Walked to Bourgueil - no choice, Bill needs the bank. When we got there it was market day so that provided a diversion. There were lots of livestock for sale, little ducks and hens and fancy fighting no-show birds for sale. Bill bought a pair of shoes for £3 - don’t know how long they’ll last. Had apple turnovers on the way home - very nice. Had a salad and some cheese. Gave some cheese away to our neighbours, Blesse Bleu, I didn’t like it, but they do. They are here with one of their granddaughters, Angelique - they’re en retraite too. We saw some other French people as well - we helped them with their van, and we talked to the man last night. NO CAR.
