Funeral and journey to Carnac
Packed up ready to go. The 2 German cyclists are a bit weird, the elder one put them through a series of exercises, and cut the younger one’s hair. There are two elderly gentlemen on the level below us - and they are funny as well - but gentle. The young couple opposite us are going to Carnac as well, but we all had to wait for the concierge who was late, as usual. Still the site was good, and cheap. Our young friends passed us as we were getting petrol, on the motorway they hooted and we waved - maybe we shall see them in Carnac. We got in at Rosnevel (?) because they know us - otherwise we couldn’t have done - it’s full. We’re staying one night in the field where the staff live. The horses - together with foal one here, also two chickens who scratch around together. We went to Cra’ch to sort my picture out, and there was an exposition there (I thought there would be), but it wasn’t open. We saw a funeral of an elderly lady in the village - turned out it was the Mayor’s aunt, because we eventually got to meet the Mayor, who’s going to sort things out for me and let me know the position. I am relieved to get some help! We had a ride down to Carnac and to the ‘island’ beach. There’s a cirque here tonight - I would have liked to see it - peut etre it will be here tomorrow. We’re opposite the swimming pool again!! The site now has a proper restaurant with Jackie ‘le frite’ and her husband turning it - also helped out with Mr. Le Flock! The prices are higher, but the amenities have been increased, mostly for the children and for pleasure. They have keep for classes every morning as well! We shall probably more further north on Sunday, out of the crush here!
