Crossing the Channel on the 'Reine Matilde'
We set off - “with a fair wind for France” Henry V? Time: 5.30 - Arrived Portsmouth 10PM - 4 1/2 hrs with 1 stop for food. The cabin in the Reine Matilde was way below! Good crossing but a bit rough mid-channel. At Falaise we set out our new chairs & lounger! Well, the lounger has a new cover! The warden said it hand’t rained since 27th April!
