Buying new chair for Bill
The most energetic thing we did today was to have a shower and go to the local supermarche - Unico - stayed there quite a bit as it was nice and cool. After we bought a new chair (hurray!) we came back, had lunch, then after a suitable interval, went for a swim in the pool - with all the kids! It was lovely, very cooling, life was bearable after that! The couple next door who are Dutch, have an old English Sheepdog - he’s lovely and wooly - spends his time under caravan in the height of the sun. We walked to the village in the evening where there was a fair!! Well, 3 rifle ranges, one dodgems and a children’s merry-go-round, not the most exciting fair I’ve visited. The church bells always seem to be ringing for one reason or another! This site is run by a Dutchman, with a young wife - there seems to be a lot of that around! Very well run site.
