Brou, Nogent, and Fishing
Left Falaise at 10:15am, making for BROU via Argentan, Alençon, Nogent-le-Rotreu, approx. 145 kilometres, about 90 miles. Brou is not very interesting, though the campsite is huge, and has an artificial lake, cours-de-voile, tennis courts (2£ per hr) etc. Facilities are new in our ‘bit’ row ‘M’ Numero B0! Stopped at Nogent (I think) for lunch - very nice meal. This site is Municipal trois etoile ***! It has permanent lettings, also storage for vans. Bill has gone fishing, just across the road and down the bank. He has already caught a perch - about 4” long. Tomorrow we’re just taking a trip to Chartres to see the Cathedral.
