Meeting Dutch people in the heat
Eventually got away at 10:15. The ‘madame’ dans le bureau, had a long telephone call. Bill found out - too late - that we’d left our camping corner then - Quel Damage! We eventually arrived here - there is a swimming pool, all facilities, except that the end douche sprays water trough a hole in the pipe into the next one! Very clean tho’, and there is a swimming pool.
Far too hot to do anything - might go for a swim later. Slept really well last night. This site is full of Dutch people, most of whom speak English - they say they have to now, as Holland is so small and very full of people. Most of whom go abroad in the summer - it was raining in Holland last week! We’ve travelled now about 300 miles, and that’s enough for a bit! Especially in this heat.
