Arose late as usual - Bill has Lumbago - or similar, but other bits have improved a bit! We did the washing - at least I did - and Bill put out a line for it - makes one appreciate the washing M/C! Went to see Sue Honiken (?) after lunch, we drove right by the barn without noticing it! However, all was well and we saw all the work that they’d put into it. It’s a lovely barn, thick stone walls and beams. There are lots of super châteaux around, which we may visit. Visited a supermarche for food on the way back. We saw a local two Bach rail car, railway runs by the road and the river. One can hire canoes & kayaks and make one’s way down the river, and get picked up further on, then ferried back by small coach. Telephoned Chris & Maxine, Dave & Edwina had come on Friday and they’d gone to Brighton, M & C were getting ready to go down to Brighton - cost us about £2 odd to ‘phone, but it was nice to speak to ‘la famille’ - in the person of Maxine.
